According to Sulwhasoo-blogspot , this serum can be used to heal acne. It certainly didn’t say so on it’s website so once i read this, i tried it right away that night since i had the sample, and it really did heal my acne breakout i’ve been having for the past 3 days!
This ampoule/serum is a 5 week home treatment program and is sold in 5 pump tubes of 7ml. Each tube is to be used for 1 week and all you need is a small tiny amount.
Like the discontinued History Of Whoo line – Chung – which was made for oily acne skin, this serum fills the lacking Yin energy inside the skin and balances it by taking away ‘heat’ from the skin. These terms are very chinese-medical terms, so you’d definitely get what i mean if you are familiar with chinese medicine.

This item recently went through an upgrade therefore you will see two different versions of this product :
1) Old Packaging – known as the Herblinic Serum
2) New Packaging – known as the Herblinic Restorative Ampoule
This serum is rather thick, more like an emulsion-cream like texture. It is slightly yellowish/brownish in color and has a very strong herb smell to it.

Haven’t been able to find the ingredient list online… will update when there is news!
So a little recap before taking a look at the before-after photos.
I had a sudden burst of acne breakout around my upper-lip chin area. Around 6-7 pimples popped out of nowhere. Therefore i tried the Suiskin’s home peeling program which is the Herbalium Mask which is a 4 week program. That explains why you can see my skin peeling on the ‘after’ photos.
The ‘before’ pictures were taken on the night of 27th December one night after putting on the mask ( i’m leaving the photos taken before the Mask for the Mask review itself ) . I applied the Sulwhasoo Serum on the 27th night and the ‘after’ photos were taken on the 28th afternoon. Also, the photos were taken right after cleansing, therefore the peel was even more obvious!
Other products that were used : History Of Whoo Chung Line
Before – After photos after only 1 night of application :
UPDATED WITH DAY 3
My pimple breakout definitely looks much better on photos. Trust me, it was much worse than this that i stayed in for a few days because it was hideous!
I’m definitely amazed by this serum. It even managed to make 2 upcoming pimples disappear! And all this only after 1 night of application. I’m definitely going to continue using this and i’ve even placed a purchase on the new upgraded version!
UPDATE : Almost everything has cleared up. Everyone in Hope In The Blog has been referring this as our ‘miracle balm’ and all of us are going to be ordering more of this online!
And again, the effects might have been doubled because i used The History Of Whoo’s Chung line together with this essence. I’m going to try using only this alone tonight!
This serum is suitable for all skin types.
Anyone who has had the same luck using this?
